Old Fashion Recipes for Sandwiches with Sauerkraut: Kitty's Open-Faced and Hoosier Reuben

In the mood for a snack or sandwiches?  Need some sandwiches for game night or watching sports of TV?  Give these old fashion sandwiches a try.  Kitty's Open-Faced Sandwiches serve canned roast beef hash, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on slices of Rye bread.  After broiling, these are hot and special.  Or perhaps you would prefer the Hoosier Reuben.  Both of these sandwiches use sauerkraut so you may need a little German blood in you to enjoy them!

KITTY'S OPEN FACE SANDWICH
This recipe is from an old PTA cookbook.

4 slices rye bread
1 can sauerkraut, drained
4 slices Swiss cheese
1 can roast beef hash

To assemble sandwiches, lay out the bread slices on a broiler pan. Divide the hash evenly between the four bread slices and spread over the bread. Top the hash with sauerkraut; top sauerkraut with slices of Swiss cheese. Place under broiler and broil about 10 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted. Watch carefully to prevent burning.

HOOSIER REUBEN SANDWICH

2 slices rye bread
3 oz corned beef
1 1/2 oz sauerkraut
2 tbsp Thousand Island Salad Dressing
1 slice Swiss cheese, thinly sliced

Butter one side of each of the slices of rye bread. Place buttered sides of the bread down in a large skillet. Place the slice of cheese over one slice and the Thousand Island dressing on the other slice. Place the corned beef and sauerkraut in the skillet. Cook until hot and bread is toasted. Stack the corned beef and sauerkraut on the bread slices and put together to make sandwich.

The internet is brimming with fake watches, or ‘replicas’ as they are now called.

They are almost never value for money and of course damage the brands of the real watches they are portraying to be.

Luckily these fakes are rarely trouble for experts in modern and antique watches.

One such expert is Craig Struthers of Fellows & Sons auctioneers in Birmingham: http://www.fellows.co.uk.

As an antique watch cataloguer currently working on the next wrist and pocket watches sale on Monday 22nd October, he said ‘replicas’ sold on the internet are normally easily spotted.

“When appraising watches you need to look very closely at the case, movement and dial, and imperfections need to be pointed out” he said.

“These are of upmost importance to watch buyers and collectors alike, as is originality. The movement is also an important aspect, as over the years many watches may not have been regularly serviced or repaired by the inexperienced.

Craig believes antique watches in poor condition have a value, if only for a particular part even as vintage spares can be very difficult to source.

Exercise For Toning Hips

It's every woman's dream; shapely hip muscles. From a human anatomy point of view, women tend to have larger hips relative to the waist (unlike men) since women tend to store higher amounts of body fat in the hip, buttocks and thighs.

Each person is different and fat gets stored in the body in a certain order. That order is determined by gender and genetics. It's a myth that women can selectively lose fat in the hip region. In fact, 'spot reduction' is something that advertisers use to prey on unsuspecting customers desperate to try anything to shape up certain areas of the body. You have probably wasted time and money on gadgets, weight loss creams and other gimmicks. When one loses weight, the 'reduction' is general i.e all over the body, but never in one 'spot'. Think of the body as if it was a balloon, which inflates and deflates every time, you gain / lose weight.

Here's the good news: specific exercises for the hip, as outlined below will help tone the hip muscles (but not spot reduce them). The following exercise routine has been designed to tone the hip muscles. It works best when combined with an aerobic exercise program and a healthy diet.

Combining hip toning exercises with a well rounded aerobic exercise and weight training program requires more energy and more strength. Your body responds to high intensity exercises by adding lean muscle. This increases the rate at which the body burns calories and helps use up excess stored fat. You can burn more calories by doing a variety of activities, and mixing up the exercises, intensity and duration every 2-3 weeks. All weight training exercises are not created equal. Exercises that involve large muscle groups such as squats and lunges for your legs, bench presses for your chest, overhead presses for your shoulders and lat pull-downs for your back build more muscle mass. A combination of cardiovascular exercise and weight lifting will make you stronger and leaner. This kind of effort takes time, but the results are permanent.

The following routine has been specially designed for toning hip muscles. For best results, start with 15-20 repetitions and one set. Increase gradually to 2 sets. Complete the routine at least 2 times a week and you will see results within the first few weeks. These numbers are general guidelines. For best results, consult a personal trainer. If you have any injuries or medical ailments, please obtain a physicians clearance before starting any exercise program.

Side Lying Hip Raises: Hip toning.
Starting Position: Lie on your left side on a mat with the legs straight. Support your heard in your hands and keep the left leg bent. Movement: Slowly raise the right leg 8-12 inches up in the air, keeping the knee straight. Lower it gradually. Complete 15-20 repetitions and repeat on the opposite side. To make this exercise harder, you can try using weight cuffs around the ankles. Start with 1 lb and work your way up to 5 lbs within 4-6 weeks. Another way to make the exercise harder is to raise the leg and then trace large circles clockwise 10 times, followed by another 10 repetitions anticlockwise.

Seated Hip Toning: Hip toning.
Starting Position: Sit on an exercise matt with your legs together and your palms on the matt for support. Movement: Lift your right foot 8-12 inches off of the matt. Point your toes and moving only at your ankle trace a large circle in the air. Complete fifteen circles clockwise and fifteen circles counter clockwise. Repeat as required on other side. To make this exercise harder, you can try using weight cuffs around the ankles. Start with 1 lb and work your way up to 5 lbs within 4-6 weeks. Another way to make the exercise harder is to trace smaller circles.

Standing Single Leg Wall Squat (Advanced): Hip And Thigh Toning.
This is an advanced exercise since it shapes the hips and thighs. Starting Position: - Place your upper back against a smooth wall. Stand on one foot and lean back against the wall. Movement: - Inhale, keeping your heel in contact with the floor at all times, slowly lower into a squat position while sliding down the wall. Exhale as you slowly straighten your leg, keeping your head and chest up, returning to the starting position. Repeat as required. This is an advanced exercise. Please discontinue the exercises if you have any pain and consult a physician prior to this exercise routine if you have a history of hip or knee pain.

Standing Single Leg Dumbbell Squats (Advanced): Hip And Thigh Toning.
Starting Position:- Stand on one leg with a slight bend in your knees. Hold a dumbbell in each hand and allow them to hang down at your sides. Movement: - Inhale, keeping your heel in contact with the floor at all times, slowly lower into a squat position. Exhale as you slowly straighten your leg, keeping your head and chest up, returning to the starting position. Repeat as required. You can start with 2 lb dumbbells and work your way up to 5 lbs within 3-4 weeks.

Lying Leg Bridge: Hip Toning.
Starting Position:- On an exercise matt, lie with your feet on a plank or a board with a 4-6 inch elevation. Keep the knees bent and both feet flat on the floor. Lay your hands on the matt palms down on either side of your body for support. Movement: - Exhale as you push your hips up into the air, keeping your spine straight. Hold this position as long as you can, continuously keeping your hips in the air. Lower slowly. Repeat for 15 to 20 repetitions.

Lying Face Down Plank: Hip, Thigh And Ab Toning.
Starting Position: Get on an exercise matt on all fours, with your elbows touching the matt directly underneath your shoulders. Extend your legs back as far as you can, and keep the toes on the floor. Movement: Raise the hips up and hold yourself in this 'plank position' with your back completely flat. This is an excellent exercise for the hips, thighs and abdominal muscles. Since it involves so many muscles, it is strenuous in nature. Lower the hips slowly down to the mat. Repeat for 15-20 repetitions. (Most individuals find it hard to complete 15-20 reps for this exercise and 8-10 might be a more suitable starting point).

So What is Tube Fool ?

So basically Tube Fool is a very unique piece of software that will help you get more views onto your You Tube videos. The software will let you gather information from any user of You Tube like subscribers, friends and commentators and then just working in the background you will be able to request the software to do some of this actions: Friend Request, Subscribe and Share Video.

Mark and Alex have been working during the last month or so with this software and they have included more cool features and upgrades to the software. I was able to buy Tool Fool back in November 2010 so the version I'm using at the moment is not upgraded yet.

We are all waiting for the 1st of Feb to get a copy of this amazing software that will help you generate an empire inside your You Tube accounts.  I will update this review page with a insiders video so you know exactly what to expect before you decided or not to buy this product.

In November 2010 Alex Goad and Mark Dulisse released a course called Dominating Video; as part of that product launch they also gave away a software tool called Tube Fool.

This small but powerful tool is used to draw traffic and visitors to your youtube videos. There are numerous testimonials from people (including me) who joined their Dominating Video program and had great success using Tube Fool.

To this end Mark has taken Tube Fool, refined it and added a whole raft of extra functions and options that many of the customers of Dominating Video suggested and requested and turned it into a must have application for any serious Video Marketer.

Please let me run you through exactly what you will be getting if you decide to invest in Tube Fool.

Included in Tube Fool is the software, which has been greatly enhanced since it was given away during the Dominating Video product launch, and also a video series detailing all the functions and best practices for using Tube Fool.

The software allows you to easily search users and video on YouTube so that you may then use the Tube Fool software to promote your own videos.

There are four ways in which you can search for users on YouTube that could be interested in your Video promotions

2. By other users subscribers - this involves targeting a particular users channel and the software will retrieve a list of users that are subscribed to their channel so of course you would target users with a video that matches your target audience.

3. The reason that this is powerful is because these people have already shown that they are active by making a comment on YouTube so they may be more receptive to viewing your video and perhaps taking a look at your associated offer.

4. By keyword - this involves using targeted keywords and the software will then go out and find users channels that have a reference to your keyword.

The collection of YouTube users is the first stage of operations in the Tube Fool software process. From my testing I can tell you that it is very fast at collecting this information. I managed to collect over 900 users that could be interested in my video and associated promotion in a little over 2 minutes.

The second stage is to now execute YouTube operations to draw attention to your video's.

This is achieved in three ways:

1. By processing friend requests to the list of targeted users you have collected in stage one.

2. By subscribing to the user channels from the list of users you have collected in stage one.

3. By sharing your video with the users in the list you have collected in stage one of using the Tube Fool software.

All of this is designed to draw attention to your videos and your video channel where you will hopefully have set up the channel profile and video descriptions to attain the best possible chance of converting some of these people into customers.

Tube Fool is preset to operate within the acceptable parameters that YouTube allows as far as timing between operations or requests go so you don't have to worry about your account getting into any trouble. There are also options to filter the list of users you have collected with a variety of parameters.

Once you have your list of targeted users it is then merely a case of selecting the users you would like to target with one of the three available options and then let Tube Fool work in the background whilst you carry on with other work.
